Dear Colleagues and Friends,

we are finally here!

We are pleased to announce that the 15th International Symposium on Hazards, Prevention and Mitigation of Industrial Explosions (ISHPMIE) will be held in Naples from the 10th to the 14th of June 2024. The event is organized by the University of Naples Federico II, in collaboration with the National Research Council, the University of Rome, the University of Bologna and the Polytechnic University of Turin.

The congress brings together academia and research institutions with the industry and the program will include high-level presentations from both perspectives. Special attention will be given to the risks of the energy transition.
We will also provide training, workshops, and education on the Hazards, Prevention, and Mitigation of Industrial Explosions.
Around 250 Professors, Researchers, and industry Representatives from all over the world are expected to attend the conference, which will be held in the beautiful city of Naples.

The program will also include wonderful sightseeing or walking tours of Naples, as well as a taste of typical Neapolitan cuisine.
